Understanding Basic Audio
This will be a workshop to help you to understand sound as it relates to music.
We will cover all the basics and the
how-what and why of recording and mixing sound. This is a basic class but will offer something for everyone. We hope to offer more advanced classes as we continue these workshops.

Cecilee Jones
has a combined 14 years of teaching experience. She has taught at the Claudia Roberts Piano Studios and Dexter Music Academy. She has received her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and has her Masters in Historic Studies of Religions. Cecilee teaches Piano and Voice. Cecilee has been teaching at Janis Music Studios for the past 6 years. Her enthuiasim,  personality and warmth makes her students feel at ease.

Randy Carnahan
began teaching at Janis Music in 1992. Specializing in String instruments, Randy teaches Violin, Viola, Upright Bass, Guitar and Piano. Randy has received his Bachelors degree and is currently musical director for the Children’s Home of Stockton. Randy also teaches Brass and  and Woodwinds. His special intrests include Irish, Spanish and Galic music. His string students regularly perform for the Renissance Fair and other special events.

Chelsea M. Ramerez
has recieved 4 year s of advanced piano instruction as well as 2 years of choir.  Chelsea has studied choir at Delta College with Mr. Aguilar. She has studied piano for the last 15 years. Chelsea is a welcome member of our staff and is liked by her students and parents as well. Chelsea has recently given birth to a beautiful baby girl and is currently on leave. We hope to have her back soon.

Brandon Traphagan
Brandon has been playing and studying music for the last 15 years. He is fluent in all styles and can teach acoustic/electric guitar, bass guitar as well as piano , drums and percussion. He has played with numerious band in the valley and is currently working with Andrew Perez with the group Earth Tones. Brandon is a true multi-instrumentalist and a welcome instructor at Janis Music Studios

Aaron Mooradian
 has 11 years experience playing music and is studying for his A.A. in music from Delta College. Aaron teaches woodwinds, piano,  beginning guitar and ukulele and is currently active in local music scene playing saxophone with the local reggae group Bratta.  He has also been working with special needs children for the past seven years.To contact Aaron click here

Luis Rodas
has varied background in music. Playing Guitar, piano, drums, bass guitar and ukulele for his church as their worship leader Luis is bilingual teaching in Spanish as well as English. His soft spoken manner is perfect for children and young adults. He is currently studing to become a Pastor like his father.

Kailee DeCarie
 
has received her degree in music with a 3.6 GPA.  She has 16 years of piano and 10 years of performance experience in praise and worship bands and teaches classical, popular, jazz and improvisational piano. With over 20 years of church and school choir and 9 years guitar she also teaches both voice and acoustic guitar.

Jeff Svendsgaard
 started playing guitar at the age of 8. After 13 yrs. he was taking over the lessons of his instructor.  Geoff has taught over 30 thousand lessons since 1995 and has a prolific musical career spanning 3 decades.
